I found these while I was browsing Tumblr for pretty things, and I immediately had to think of your blog.

These are pieces of concept art for Skarlet, apparently a red-palette ninja from the DLC for Mortal Kombat 2011. Not all of it is like this (she can be found here) but these pieces definitely have something wrong with her spine. I’m also spotting a couple of crotch-legs, a BnB pose and some rather uncomfortable combat poses in general. Not speaking of a certain lack of armour, for someone who’s apparently in the thick of a melee battle.

Then again, this is Mortal Kombat.

That last picture.  It seems like if you’re going to be fighting a mass of spiky tentacles you might want to cover up a little because OUCH.

Yeah, I’m… inordinately proud of that particular bit of wit. Especially since the next thing I came up with was a really, really dumb pun.

I’m sure they’ll be cool with it!  (How long does it take to set up a community?  Cos you’ve still got a week or so, I thought.)

It doesn’t take too long to set one up, but we wanted to give them a warm welcome post and suchlike, soooo basically it’s been a combo of slight procrastination and being too busy with rosters, asks, tags, etc.
